Oxfam GB – International Robin Hood Tax Coalition Coordinator

As the dust settled from the 2008 financial crisis, NGOs seized the opportunity to transform the financial crisis towards a system that worked for people. Between 2011 -2013, Oxfam invested in supporting the financial transaction tax movement, known popularly as the Robin Hood tax. Leading this coalition of multi-national, multi-priority organisations, Guppi was responsible for coalition coordination, campaign delivery and team building. She was responsible for building the infrastructure behind the campaign through several days of actions, lobbying at the World Bank and European Parliament, media campaigns, and development of public research and actions.
