As the dust settled from the 2008 financial crisis, NGOs seized the opportunity to transform the financial crisis towards a system that worked for people. Between 2011 -2013, Oxfam invested in supporting the financial transaction tax movement, known popularly as the Robin Hood tax. She was responsible for building the infrastructure behind the campaign through several days of actions, lobbying at the World Bank and European Parliament, media campaigns, and development of public research and actions.
