Before heading to NEON, Guppi coordinated a series of training events with GCCA to support youth climate campaigners worldwide, working in countries including India, Vietnam, Trinidad and Tobago, Rwanda, and Brazil. She also supported the delivery of high level interventions including the opening speaker at the New York Climate Summit, Kathy Jetnil-Kijiner in 2014.

Guppi worked on the relaunch of Medact, an organisation that mobilises the medical profession towards social justice campaigning. Her role concentrated on the Climate & Ecology project which designed research projects on food, air pollution, fracking and nuclear energy and their connections to health inequalities.
