Resourcing Racial Justice Fund

In the wake of COVID-19, Guppi worked alongside 8 other BIPOC innovators, change makers, activists and artists to establish Resourcing Racial Justice Fund. The fund has been created as a political project, that aims to do two things:

  1. Rapidly move financial resources towards BIPOC led projects that centre racial justice
  2. Act as an important piece of infrastructure to shift the practice of the philanthropic sector in the UK

The first wave of applications saw nearly 2000 requests for support from across the UK. Over time, as the fund develops, the aim will be to increase the amount of financial resource available as well as work with a group of philanthropic organisations to do the deep work of divesting from whiteness.
